Possible Project Types

We're generally excited about:

Independent essays or research reports which we publish on the Stanford EA substack and EA forum.
Research publications related to pressing global problems e.g. pandemic prevention, nuclear security, global health and development. See more examples.
Field maps and sense-making. The world is complex with billions of people, tens of thousands of organizations, and nearly 200 nations. We especially love projects that try to make sense of our world and make it legible. Why?
Propose your own. Have an idea that doesn't fit the categories above? We're open to creative proposals. For projects we're excited about, we can help obtain funding and connect you with collaborators.

Past Projects

Stanford EA launched SERI, incubated MATS, EA Virtual Programs, and the Stanford Alt Protein Project.

For examples of additional projects, find us on Substack and the EA Forum.
